Craving chocolate without the sugar crash? This protein-packed lava cake is rich, moist, and secretly healthy. With molten chocolate in the center and just the right fluff, it’s ready in under 10 minutes. Perfect as a post-workout or late-night treat!
Ingredients (for 1 serving)
- 1 egg
- 1 scoop (≈30g) chocolate protein powder (whey or plant-based)
- 1 tbsp (10g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp (20g) Greek yogurt or plant milk
- A pinch of baking powder (optional, for fluff)
- A drop of vanilla extract or stevia (optional, for sweetness)
- 1 small piece of sugar-free chocolate (for the center)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the egg, protein powder, cocoa, and yogurt or milk.
➝ If too thick, add 1–2 tbsp of water or milk.- Place the chocolate piece in the center of the batter.
- Cook:
○ Microwave: 45–60 seconds at full power. The outside should be set, the center soft.
○ Oven: 180°C for 8–10 minutes in a small ramekin.- Serve warm, optionally with yogurt, strawberries, or sugar-free syrup.
