Ingredients (for 1 large cake)<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • 250 g butter, at room temperature<\/li>\n
  • 250 g sugar<\/li>\n
  • 5 eggs<\/li>\n
  • 250 g all-purpose flour<\/li>\n
  • 1 tsp baking powder<\/li>\n
  • 1 cup orange juice<\/li>\n
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n
  • Zest of 1 orange<\/li>\n
  • 100 g finely chopped almonds (optional)<\/li>\n
  • 1 coin (optional)<\/li>\n
  • Powdered sugar for dusting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Prepare the pan:<\/strong> Preheat the oven to 170\u00b0C (340\u00b0F) and grease a round cake pan.<\/li>\n
    2. Cream the butter:<\/strong> Beat the butter with sugar until light and fluffy.<\/li>\n
    3. Add the eggs:<\/strong> Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.<\/li>\n
    4. Incorporate the dry ingredients:<\/strong> Mix the flour with baking powder and gradually add to the batter.<\/li>\n
    5. Flavor the batter:<\/strong> Add the orange juice, vanilla, orange zest, and almonds. Mix gently.<\/li>\n
    6. Bake:<\/strong> Pour the batter into the pan and carefully insert the coin. Bake for 50\u201360 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.<\/li>\n
    7. Serve:<\/strong> Allow the cake to cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
