Tamagoyaki is a dish of history, skill and distinctive flavor!<br \/>\nWith roots going back to the 17th century, it\u2019s made of thin layers of egg rolled carefully and with craft.<br \/>\nFrom family breakfasts and children\u2019s lunchboxes to the plates of sushi chefs, Tamagoyaki is a symbol of simplicity, love and mastery.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Ingredients (serves 2\u20133)<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"gmail_quote\">\n<blockquote class=\"gmail_quote\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<blockquote>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>4 eggs<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp dashi (or water)<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp mirin<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp sugar<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>Oil for the pan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"gmail_quote\">\n<blockquote class=\"gmail_quote\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<blockquote>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li>In a bowl, lightly beat the eggs with the dashi (or water), mirin, sugar and salt until combined.<\/li>\n<li>Heat a small non-stick or rectangular tamagoyaki pan over medium heat and brush lightly with oil.<\/li>\n<li>Pour in a thin layer of the egg mixture and let it cook until just set but still soft. Roll it gently to one side.<\/li>\n<li>Oil the pan again, pour another thin layer of egg, let it set and roll again, incorporating the first roll.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat until all the mixture is used.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the roll, let it cool slightly and cut into pieces.
