It starts at the exact same place, in Elia, where our <strong>grandfather Nikos<\/strong> and our <strong>grandmother Evangelia<\/strong> had a small chicken farm.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A decade later, the <strong>first professional egg farm<\/strong> in Crete was built on the field. The area\u2019s natural elements have always been interconnected with our family and the farm. The vineyard and the surrounding area became the home of our family project with our 10,000 hens!<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the years passed the family business evolved always with passion and creativity, with know-how and professionalism. The Syntichakis family&#8217;s next generation took action and in the 1980s collaborations with hotels and the egg trade kicked off. These were two major steps in the company\u2019s acceleration and progress. Also, the compost unit significantly reduced industry waste making us a greener company.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, the family farm Syntichakis has completely adapted and modernised according to <strong>European standards<\/strong> while offering free-range eggs as well as organic.
